RP Graphite Electrodes are made for low-power electric arc furnaces (EAF) used in steelmaking and metallurgy. They are mainly produced from high-quality petroleum coke and have higher electrical resistivity than more advanced electrode types. These electrodes are common in small to medium steel plants with moderate furnace loads. RP electrodes offer steady performance, are cost-effective, and melt reliably, which makes them a good choice for basic steel production and general metallurgical uses.
